Overview
Your morning starts before dawn with a pickup from your hotel in Ras Al Khaimah or Umm Al Quwain. At the launch site in the desert you watch the crew prepare and inflate the balloon and get a safety briefing from the pilot. As the sun rises you lift off and drift quietly over the dunes, with the Hajar Mountains in the distance and the light changing over the sand. After landing you are driven back to your hotel. Flights take place on request in the cooler months and always depend on the weather; the operator confirms the take-off time the day before.
