Overview
Trade the skyscrapers for the rugged Hajar Mountains, fishing villages and quiet beaches of Fujairah and Khorfakkan. You stop for photos at the white Fujairah Grand Mosque, then spend about two hours at Sandy Beach with lunch and beach access, opposite the rocky Snoopy Island, a well-known snorkelling spot. You stand inside the Al Bidya mosque, the oldest active mosque in the UAE, and stroll through the old souk of Khorfakkan and its open-air amphitheatre by the mountain, next to its waterfall.
